Mintz Group Updated on December 15, 2025
Mintz Group, a leading risk advisory and investigations firm, announced today that Sam Taylor has joined the company as a Partner in the firm’s Disputes practice. Sam’s addition further solidifies Mintz Group’s ability to help organizations, governments and law firms around the world uncover fraud, trace and recover assets and prevail in arbitration and litigation.
Sam brings 15 years of experience conducting and managing complex investigations. He joins Mintz Group from corporate intelligence and cybersecurity firm S-RM, where he led the firm’s Corporate Intelligence practice in the Americas and advised clients on high-stakes matters in litigation, asset tracing, proxy fights and bespoke transactional due diligence. Prior to S-RM, Sam held leadership roles at Kroll and Investigative Research Inc. He began his career in financial services, working for Gilford Securities in New York and Dubai. Fluent in Spanish, Sam has led and supported engagements in the United States, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. He is ranked by Chambers and Partners and Lexology for Litigation Support and Asset Tracing.
Mintz Group also announced today that Sherry Chang has joined the firm’s Disputes practice as a Managing Director. Like Sam, Sherry joins Mintz Group from S-RM’s Corporate Intelligence practice. Prior to S-RM, Sherry, a Certified Fraud Examiner, spent nearly eight years in the Investigations and Disputes practice of K2 Integrity.

“Today’s complex, global economy offers tremendous opportunity—but also more pronounced risks for fraud and disputes,” noted Chris Weil, Mintz Group’s co-CEO. “The addition of Sam and Sherry further expands our ability to help clients protect their business interests and reputations, resolve conflicts favorably and monetize judgments and awards.” This latest expansion of Mintz Group’s Disputes practice follows the acquisition earlier this year by Mintz Group of Greyhawk Intelligence Group, a UK-based firm with multiple Chambers and Partners rankings in the Litigation Support and Crisis & Risk Management categories.
“Providing corporations with the intelligence and insight they need in disputes today requires a rare combination of on-the-ground resources, geopolitical awareness, industry knowledge and powerful analytical capabilities.” said Taylor. “Mintz Group integrates these elements to help their clients tackle their most complex challenges, and it’s exciting to be a part of this multifaceted industry-leading team.”
