Mintz Group Updated on December 15, 2025
Mintz Group Partner Ian Casewell will be speaking at the 42nd Cambridge International Symposium on Economic Crime.
For over four decades, the symposium has stood as one of the most distinguished global forums in the fight against economic wrongdoing.
Since its inception in 1982 at Jesus College, Cambridge, the symposium has brought together leading academics, judicial authorities, policymakers, compliance professionals, business leaders, and law enforcement experts to address the most pressing threats posed by financially motivated crime.
Ian will be joined by fellow crime fighters and academics to discuss the ever-evolving cyber dimension in economic crime.
In his role at Europol over twenty years ago, Ian was responsible for the establishment of an EU-wide strategic intelligence group comprised of members of the EU’s computer crime units, producing the first EU-wide strategic assessment on computer-related crime within the Union. The prevalence and threat to society has increased dramatically over the past two decades – a theme which will be discussed at the symposium.
