October 27, 2026 - Mintz Group is expanding its presence in the Middle East with the upcoming opening of our new regional office in Dubai, UAE. As part of this next chapter, Saffa Ahmed, Director and Deputy Head of MENA, is relocating to Dubai to join Mohammad Malkawi, Managing Director and Head of MENA, further strengthening our capabilities across the region.
During Dubai Arbitration Week 2026, we'll mark this milestone with two events at the Ritz-Carlton DIFC.
On 10 November, we'll host a networking reception in partnership with Fulcrum Capital and Singularity Legal, bringing together colleagues, clients, and members of the arbitration and disputes community as we celebrate the upcoming opening of this new office.
On 11 November, we'll co-host Effective Enforcement of Judgments and Awards with McNair International and Hadef & Partners. The discussion will examine the lifecycle of commercial distress, from the initial disruption of contractual performance through to dispute resolution, enforcement, and recovery.
At the heart of the discussion is a practical question: what should businesses, lawyers, and investigators do from the moment geopolitical or commercial disruption causes a relationship to fail through to the point at which they must decide whether, and how, they can recover their money? Our panel will explore the strategies, decisions, and challenges that shape successful enforcement and recovery efforts across borders.
