Peter Lagomarsino is the managing partner of the Mintz Group's Chicago office and the firm's Director of Due Diligence. He joined the Mintz Group in 1998 and primarily conducts due diligence before deals, such as acquisitions and joint ventures, and before executive and board appointments.

Peter's clients include investment and merchant banks, private equity firms, hedge funds, executive search firms, and their outside legal advisors.

He works closely with his clients in setting up institutional due-diligence programs, ensuring that they meet and exceed best-practice standards.

Peter's work is often outside of the U.S. -- he manages complex cross-border assignments based on public records and reputational sources in multiple jurisdictions. Recently, his overseas work has mainly been in China, Western and Central Europe and Latin America.

He co-authored the article "Resume Fraud Starts at the Top," which appeared in Across the Board magazine.

Peter graduated from Amherst College magna cum laude with a major in Philosophy.
