Marc Fader
Marc Fader is a partner in the Mintz Group's New York office. He is also the firm’s associate general counsel. Marc specializes in commercial litigation, government investigations, proxy contests, and finding evidence of employee misconduct in internal investigations. For investment firms and corporations, Marc assists with due diligence on potential business partners and executive hires.

Recently, Marc has been investigating self-dealing by executives at a large public company; helping a commercial litigation client prove its patent infringement case and examine testifying experts; defending an executive who is being investigated for the backdating of stock options; discovering how illegal handguns are trafficked into New York; determining a private company’s expectations for one of its business units; and performing due diligence on high-level executives

He was previously with Dewey Ballantine LLP, where he served in the corporate and litigation departments and worked on commercial litigation such as contract and copyright disputes and on corporate transactions such as acquisitions and licensing. Marc began his career as a photo journalist and arts and entertainment reporter.

Marc holds a B.S. in journalism and a J.D. from Boston University. He served as an editor on the Boston University Law Review.
